Summer Missions -- Training Camp!

We spent 10 days with our older teens and college students at Christian Youth In Action Training Camp. It was a great training week and I was privileged to teach the Little Kids Course to five of our summer missionaries. They were great students who embraced the new tools and language that make working with preschoolers and early elementary kids very rewarding! They learned a finger play, how to do effective Bible Lessons with the memory verse, songs, and all five senses folded into it, and made a fun puppet. They used all of these things on two days teaching children at three different day cares. One day care had 50 kids so we had to do it in two sessions to split the group into more manageable groups. Overall we reached about 75 little kids! Thank you to all of you who prayed and gave to make it happen! Now these summer missionaries are on the field reaching children in multiple 5-Day Clubs every day.
