Last Thursday at Good News Club, I was trying to help out the other counselors by taking the boys that seemed a bit less than sincere about talking about Jesus. As we talked, I asked the boys if any of them had ever received the Lord. One just wanted to take a nap, another said yes, but the third said, "No, I've never done that. I don't even know how to do that." A wonderful open door. When asked if he would like to know, he said yes! After reviewing more of the message of salvation, I asked if he would like to receive the Lord. He said yes! What a precious moment and a reminder that superficial actions can often obscure a real spiritual desire. Please pray for this boy as you have a moment.
