Schnivia

My eldest nephews have a tradition between themselves of "schnieveling." A schnievel (however they would spell it) is an odd concoction of foods not normally eaten together. The more odd the assortment, the better the schnievel. You may want to get in on the game if you think you can stomach marshmallow creme, with pickel relish, coconut and braunschweiger on a rye cracker!

Well, last night, they invented something new but related -- "Schnivia." It was born by playing Trivial Pursuit Genus Edition, Trivial Pursuit 20th Anniversary Edition, and Bible Trivia all together. We only used two of the three boards -- both Trivial Pursuit boards. There were specific places and ways one could "jump" from one board to the other. You had to acheive getting at least one pie piece from each Trivial Pursuit game. Bible Trivia questions could be substituted in for Trivial Pursuit questions anywhere except for pie piece questions. There was, of course, a limit of 10 substitutions since those Bible questions are easier for us in most cases.

So if you can't find a game to interest you, then just make up new rules to old games and have a go at it.
