The last week of a ministry season is always bittersweet. There is a short lull where everything is getting put away, memories of children dance around in your head, and your heart is full of all that God did and is doing.  Summer ministry harbors a lot of good-byes. Every Friday the teams say good-bye to two or three groups of children. Each Monday there are hellos to two or three new groups of children! Twenty-two groups to say Hello and Good-bye to this summer. Of course, we can continue to pray for all of these children, but we know that some of them we may not see again. We trust in God's Word:

Isaiah 55     "This is the Lord’s declaration. 9 'For as heaven is higher than earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return there without saturating the earth and making it germinate and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, 11 so my word that comes from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.'”

 Now the opportunity is certainly there to reconnect with many of these children in the fall through Good News Clubs! Two sites would like to host monthly Party Clubs. Five sites would like to have weekly Good News Clubs. Add to that several schools that could have new after-school Good News Clubs and it all adds up to 28. School Clubs usually take 8-10 people to run well. For other clubs, maybe 3-5 people is enough. Altogether we would need about 260 people to start these 28 clubs.

Please pray with us that the Lord Jesus will raise up the teams
for all of these children to be reached with Gods Word!

Ephesians 3
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus

Matthew 19
25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Matthew 9
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
